Design cost is an optional cost that we can enable during your bureau's set up. This special cost is set at the Line Item level and is intended to record work effort that is completed for a Line Item before the Line Item goes into the production process. Design Hours are entered at the Line Item level and are scaled into a cost by being multiplied by the hourly rate (Hourly Design Cost) which can be set in the Administration panel's settings by a Bureau Manager. Design cost is added to the bureau cost for Line Item and Order.
